pau10wen
Quote Finally! Updates!! I've been slowly working on the stratos getting bits done as I can. I've also purchased an improved airbrushing setup, which has taken a while to set up. Well worth the wait now it's done, but a little cold at the moment in wintery England Some progress pictures are below of the separate body parts in primer and then paint
pau10wen
Some pics of the paint stage and first application of the decals I had some issues with the decal set from this revell kit, the main one being that the green decal that is supposed to fit around the front was A) difficult to work with and then ripped So I mixed a green with Tamiya acrylics, masked that area off and sprayed in the missing decal area. The green also came in handy to touch in areas that the decals wouldn't reach due to my dismantling the car body!
pau10wen
More pics! I finished the interior for the front of the car, so all internals are now complete.

keefr22
That looks tremendous! Great to see it come together so well - your green mix looks spot on! Lovely job! I have to say though that photobucket continues to be the most irritating and annoying picture hosting service in the universe!! Keith

PatW
Superb! As an ex rally marshall I had seen various of the Stratos on the stages. flying by, and this looks one of the best! Edited December 27, 2018 by PatW
pau10wen
Thanks pat! Very kind. I’ve really enjoyed getting back into it this build. Going to try to keep going 😀 here are some final finished photos with weathering, clear parts and final details in place i have the hasegawa lancia 037 rally kit already and the new beemax lancia delta s4 kit on the way early next year, so maybe a combined display of three monte winning lancias? Happy with this for now... Edited December 28, 2018 by pau10wen

I think it was a spare head from another kit. Possibly the old Tamiya audi quattro kit, I'm not sure. Just one of those with the face and bottom. hollowed out to make the right shape of helmet for Mr munari.
