F-84 "Thunderjet" 1/72 SANDY (Hobbyboss)

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody.

A long time due to a lot of life reasons I was absent on a forum.
There were many interesting things happened during this time that will give us hope for the future.
But I am sincerely happy to see everybody again.

Today I would like to present you a new my single engine jet fighter from the Korean War.
Let's meet with the legendary "Thunderjet".

This is one of my favorite aircraft of those times.

The WIP process was very complex and very simple at the same time. I don`t know the reason of it, I know it sounds strange, but it's true.

I have focused primarily on cockpit details then exterior.

There are four metallic colours I used for the outher skin pannel`s effect.

Let's together sit on the sofa and look at the pictures.

Hope You like it.

Thanks.

Andrii.

Ozzyman69,

A very pretty air craft and a very nice build!  I see you have also run into the very thing I am currently trying to find out -- when did the use of blue lettering begin and end in general. I know different units sometimes had differing standards. It would be great if anyone could shed light on that for us all!

Again, a beautiful job on yours.

Great build and finish

I have an academy version in the stash

I think I will use your multiple metallic colour method with the paint as it looks amazing

Cheers

About metallic painting

What metallic paints did you use

A Mr.HOBBY be the most appropriate for the airbrush painting. There are aluminium, chrome, burn iron, stainless steel and (Xo-Ma (UKR) for tne back side of landing and the taxi light bulb`s I used. Well, Mr.HOBBY for HOBBYBOSS😁

Thanks.

By the way I have an idea for the following project.

Of course I`ve got a one box by MONOGRAM F-82. is expected to commence.

Great looking Thunderjet Andrii.  Can't wait to see the Twin Mustang started, are you going to do a WIP for it?
