1/72 Hasegawa Focke Wulf FW-190 A-8

Recommended Posts

Well known Hasegawa's FW-190 still very good and available. Meanwhile we got fantastic Eduard issue, but this one is still good choice for a stress-free build. It was finished one year ago, using Gunze colors, and Tamiya varnish. Now I see on the pictures I forgot to paint antenna wire. Decals from the box, only etched seat belts added. Loop antenna on the belly should be replaced by copper wire or etched one since this one from the kit is too thick.

Really nice build Lanmi,

You're right, the Hasegawa kit still is really nice, easier to build than the Eduard and is some ways still more accurate.

I've got a bunch of the new Eduards but I'm not planning to sell off any of the Hasegawa kits anytime soon.

Cheers

I fully agree about the quality of the Hasegawa 190, when compared to more recent offerings. Having said that, you did this kit proud, as the final result is plain smashing!

CONGRATULATIONS!

I really wish I hadn't sold off my stash of Hasegawa Fw190 kits now.

Me too. It's a wonderful kit, and a pleasure to build. Unlike the Airfix effort which I'm currently struggling through (again)...
