Old Viper Tester
Four PQM-102A drones: two at Nellis AFB, two at Edwards. USAF s/n 56-1272, Nellis AFB July 1980. Served as a target for AIM-9P operational testing on the F-15. Zapped by the Supersonic Naval Ordnance Research Track (SNORT rocket sled) at Naval Weapons Center China Lake... 56-1289, Nellis, July 1980. Also a target for AIM-9P evaluations. If I remember correctly, this drone was lost over the Nellis ranges during this visit. It was a manned flight and the Sperry pilot ejected over Dog Bone Dry Lake when the drone caught fire. 56-1443, Edwards AFB transient ramp July 1984. Any idea what that dump pipe is for on the left side of the exhaust? Obviously a good place to secure the pitot cover. 56-1072, Edwards, January 1985 Oil line running to the exhaust? Thanks for looking, Sven 10
RidgeRunner
Very nice, Sven. I remember seeing many of these at Litchfield Park in May 1979 Martin

modelling minion
A really nice set of pics Sven, I do like the Deuce and there are some nice detail shots in your pics. I like the well worn look of them too.
Red Dot
fantastic pics Sven. That pipe might be some form of 'pitot' for measuring air flow past the back end, although it's a bit late in it's career Andy
F-32
Very nice, I like the unusual 'patchy' scheme, would make a very interesting model
