21 Sqn & 23 Sqn RAAF CAC Mustang Decals
1/72 & 1/48 Red Roo Models

 

 

This provides two decal options for CAC CA-17 Mk 20 Mustangs used by the RAAF.

 

1. 21 Sqn (City Of Melbourne) Sqn, reformed 1st April 1948. As a training sqn they flew the CAC Mustang, Tiger Moths and the CAC Wirraway. The Sqn provided pilot and gound crew training. 

 

2. 23 Sqn (City of Brisbane) Sqn, again reformed on 1st April 1948 as a Citizen Air Force Sqn (Reservists). Mustangs, Tiger Moths and Wirraways again were used for training. 

 

 

Conclusion
This is a great sheet if you fancy something different or antipodean for your Mustang. There is a small amendment sheet not shown for the Red Bird Markings.  Highly Recommended.
