28mm Saga Vikings

Recommended Posts

This is small group of metal Vikings I bought, grippingbeast in their Saga range,Gunnar Hamundarson(hero of the viking age),Pagan Priest 2,The Gall-Gaedhil(sons of death 8pk),and last is one Andy was kind enough to send me,the Viking with a wolf hide over his shoulder on a black base, the casting on these figures is excellent such a joy to paint,I am learning every figure I do,have only been painting this size since last year so I still have a long way to go to get to the standed I see on this site,my daughter gave me her camera and I am still trying to get used to it,would have liked to get a liitte more contrast into the pics, they look a lot better in the flesh(or metal),I just used the bases that came with the figures,I'm still not sure how I want to display them yet,so hope you don't mind the way they are,Cheers and happy figure painting.

After taking these pics,I decided to make this simple base,(the glue is still drying),I have limited space to display them so I kept it small and simple(wife said just like me,Ha Ha),Cheers.

Saga Vikings?  Conjures up Terry Pratchett's Cohen the barbarian.  Shouldn't they all have white hair?
