1982 Carrier Qualifications of VAQ-129 Prowlers on CV-61 USS Ranger as she was steaming down the California coast. Only two birds running cats and traps. Not the best images, but I couldn't get them to steam north.

Bureau No 158546 Modex NJ911. First landing is a "bolter", the hook didn't engage the arresting cables. Here on the go off the angled deck.

BuNo 159585 NJ902. She made a couple of traps and then was "chocked and chained". Either there was a maintenance problem or the crew wanted breakfast.
