1/72 Airfix Me 262

Here's my entry and yup another new tooling Airfix one. Will be totally oob as I heard the decals are excellent and need to do a JG 7 scheme to go with my airfield protection 109  The colour scheme for the 262 will be similar to the 109 but doesn't appear to have much mottling apart from the tail fin.

 

Will be starting late as I have 3 GB models backed up in front and need to complete those a lot sooner.

welcome aboard with what is becoming a very popular model, this new Airfix one must be pretty nice.

 

I love the idea of a tie-in scheme, they'll look great together and that 109 does look nicely made as well.

 

Good luck with the build, don't feel bad about starting late as there are a lot of us in a similar situation with multiple builds going on!
