Very tempted by this even though I have yet to finish the An-124 (and Tu-144 and Il-86)

One concern from the rendering is the new centre section which seems a bit too deep. Most frontal shots on airliners.net seem to show a horizontal line between the new inboard engines.  Perhaps its just the angle.

Cheers

Howard

No 3D renderings have been posted, and they have quoted this "(Image bellow has only illustrating purpose, not to be considered as 3D render)"

Cool! Maybe a 1/72 A380 will be next. At least there are a lot more marking options.

Much as I'd love to have one in my display case, if only for the conversation factor, if I'm going to go deep into my wallet, the AModel Spruce Goose would still come first. Not that that is happening anytime soon, either....

Still need a (non-resin) 747 first!

But I'd still require a visit to the cardiologist if Modelsvit announced an A380 in 1:72.

Hello friends,
Following your discussion regarding our future release - An-225 Mriya (1/72), be advised that main production batch ( #7206 ) would not include fittings for Buran, however we shall release in very limited edition (up to 100 pcs) – special set (#7207), which shall consists of An-225 + separate box, having inside: Buran and related attachment fittings.

Love the working undercarriage oleos, I've often wished for that in a kit.

I guess in this case it will help to keep all those wheels flat on the deck.

If it is anything like their An-124 (and I think it is) - there is no way that the accurate, to scale undercarriage will support the weight of the model.

I made a support 'box' from clear perspex to support the weight -

it's almost invisible unless you look for it..........

Yes.   I knew Amodel used fibreglass but not Modelsvit.
