Airfix Shaun the Sheep Landrover and naughty pigs etc

Recommended Posts

A fun build hindered by funny plastic which resists poly cement. All the sprues appears to have a clear glossy lacquer on them so each part has to be scraped or sanded to ensure the cement reacts.

Brilliant!

Although the dog looks a bit too yellow like he belongs in the Simpsons?

Thanks for the tip about glue.

Bought one of these a couple years back from the secondhand area at a show.

Still not got around to it. Wonder if they’re worth anything more now?

'Bitzer' probably is a bit too yellow because I used gloss from a rattle can rather than the horrible Humbrol #24 matt acrylic supplied in the kit.

Although we have sheep here, Shaun was unknown to me 😉 ... Glad you posted some funny reference pics.

Excellent!

Or should I say "cracking" model! 😁

Would love to build one of these - to lighten the mood among my more "serious" replicas.

Always loved the Aardman films.

:goodjob:
