modelling minion
Hi all, Here is my latest finished build, Kinetic's new Harrier 2 seater built as as a T4 from 233 OCU as seen on a Norway deployment in the mid 80's. Not the best of kits in my opinion (read the link to my wip and all my gripes are in there) but certainly not unbuildable but I expected better. I like aircraft in winter camo schemes and this has reaffirmed that so expect some more in the not too distant future, anyway enough waffling here are the pictures, sorry but there are quite a few of them. And here is the link to my wip; I have built this as part of the ongoing Hawker Group Build which is well worth checking out as there are some really good builds on it. Thanks for looking in, all comments and criticisms are gratefully received. Craig. 34

PlaStix
Hi Craig. As I mentioned in your build thread - I think your Harrier is really superb! Fantastic build, painting and weathering. Very well done. Kind regards, Stix

pipthepilot
A really interesting colour scheme that I haven't seen before, I had to Google Harrier Norway to see pictures of the real thing. You have done a great job replicating the temporary white.

Single point of criticism: your beauty would deserve a second photo session on a nice background to do her justice 😉 Cheers b.
Hewy
The troubles seem to have been worth it in the end craig, you've turned out a very nice model there, great job Glynn
spruecutter
A really great looking result, Craig despite the niggles of the build process. It just needs a base with a sprinkling of Woodland Scenics snow and you'll start to feel the chill. The technique you used for the temporary white camo is very effective. cheers Richard

I agree I do need to get something for a background for pictures. 14 hours ago, Hewy said: The troubles seem to have been worth it in the end craig, you've turned out a very nice model there, great job Glynn Cheers Glynn much appreciated, I'm happy with the end result but wish it was easier to get to. Will you be going to Hinckley mate? If so the Harrier and I will see you there. 27 minutes ago, spruecutter said: A really great looking result, Craig despite the niggles of the build process.
