Bandsaw Steve
Where’s @hendie gone? I’m missing his ‘sense of humour’ (note the inverted commas). 😁

Gorby
That's what I call modelling – fantastic stuff and a very informative and entertaining build. Incidentally, I haven't got a laminator so I can't nick your Nobel prize method. I use a short cut – you can print directly on paper-thin plastic sheet after a very light sanding. The quality of detail in the completed part isn't as sharp as your method though. Coincidentally, on my latest scratch-build I'm considering using Letraset/dry transfers for the lettering so it's useful to know it works. It'll probably be plan 'C' because it means spending money. Just off to make a coffee so that I can settle down to learn how to make an Avro. By the way, I also have a bandsaw, which I've had for about 35 years (it doesn't cut very well now but it's like one of the family) so perhaps I should change my name to 'geriatric bandsaw Gorby'?
