Stew Dapple
Nice work Lanmi Did you replace the wingtip lights with some kind of clear material, or is that just very clever painting? Cheers, Stew
Lanmi
Thank you guys! Stew, normally for wingtip lights firstly i put just a dab of white paint underneath, and then clear red/green/blue. Previously, I used Humbrol clear paints but over time they became very thick and "glue-ie", now I use Gunze. Twice I tried with the clear plastic but i was not able to get satisfying result.

Rabbit Leader
I’ve got two of these kits on the go and keep going back to this post as it’s a great build. I’ve got the Gunze paints, however can I ask which particular Dark Earh did you use - there’s C22, C369 (both Lacquer) and H72 (Acrylic)? Cheers and well modelled.. Learstang
Excellent job on a lovely little kit (I've got two I'm working on - a very early Mk.I and a Mk.II)! Regards, Jason
stevej60
Mini masterpiece Lanmi, a great reminder to new modeller's that washes and weathering are not alway's required to produce great result's. 1
Lanmi
Thank you for your kind words. @Learstang I also plan build an early Mk.I with the 2-bladed prop. One can never have enough Spitfires.
