Bullbasket Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 That is a fabulous paint/weathering job. Nice one. John.
Courageous Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 You're a man of few words Fuad but your model subjects say it all.

Andwil Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Wow, I thought this was a large scale model from the pics. The green does look a bit bright though. Andrew

Excellent upper surface finish, but most artworks of this commonly-depicted plane (including Japanese ones), show brown finish on these early Ki-44. Also, landing gear looks to be at full extension, which gives it a 'tip-toes' look.
ArmouredSprue Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 One question Fuad, how did you make the wing lights?
Rich G Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 Fuad, Raising the standards of what can be done at 1/72 scale one model at a time! I'd love to know how you attain such a high standard of weathering, I imagine it's a series of processes but the end result is as always simply stunning! Rich
Lanmi Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 Great chipping. I would like to hear how you did it.
Dave N Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 Great weathering and finish- amazing for 1/72 in fact.

And the brightness of the color is apparently associated with the technology of applying this particular coloration. It was necessary to not make a solid color, but an uneven coating.
Epeeman Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 I cannot add anything that has not already been said other than to say very impressive work. Regards Dave

I never achieved such results with pencils. I seems that I don't get matt enough finish to successful apply pencil scratch marks.
