qn30jEkPz7
Small blitz on Tamiya’s T-Rex I believe excerable is the best word to describe this kit At least it was cheap
Gorby
Never done one, but I've always had an itch to build a dino, so I'll be watching with interest.

qn30jEkPz7
A bit of cosmetic work to remove the dewlap and liposuction around the belly You don’t look a day older than 60million - it’s taken geological eras off you 2
qn30jEkPz7
“Blitz” was a bit over optimistic - The legs need almost totally remade and days of shaping and drying You can start to see where I’ll go with it Edited April 21, 2018 by LostCosmonauts

Mrs PlaStix
Looking good, glad more dinos are about -even though this kit does show it's age. I agree with Carts' opinion! ... You're making great progress
VMA131Marine
FYI, the T-rex in the diorama boxing is an altogether different and far superior molding.

Thanks - I knew from the pff that this was going to be a pigs ear of a base kit. Good weather has meant I’ve been out stocking up on Vitamin D rather than progressing any kits but will come back to do the legs next rainy day
qn30jEkPz7
As promised - a bit of rain = a bit of progress Some trial legs to check the pose sketched on paper and then stuck to card And then started making a more permanent pair in styrene sheet, sprue and polyfilla Still working on getting the arm and leg position right

qn30jEkPz7
I’ve decided he is a he (as he is on the small side for a T-Rex) and dub him Ken Ken has had a sand and a bit of basecoat and then some countershading I’ll have a tea while I think about how to proceed
