3DStewart Posted August 31, 2018 Share Posted August 31, 2018 I wouldn't straighten bent plastic with any heat hotter than a hair dryer and if the plastic is too hot to touch, it's too hot. As pointed out above the warping is due to stresses created during moulding (due to poor machine set up or poor tool design) and if you get the plastic hot enough to go plastic the stress will be released and it will deform. I took the cowards way out and used the hairdryer to straighten the U/C legs. Kit has been finished for a while now, and I think it did the trick.
