Alpha Delta 210
I was up before the larks this morning for the Timeline Events Sunrise Shoot at Stow Maries. Weather was perfect. I hope you enjoy the images. Thanks for looking. 34

stevehnz
Beautiful, stunning, ethereal, atmospheric, just some of the adjectives that come to mind, thanks for sharing those, being there must have been a huge treat. Steve
Jonny
Oh wow! Fantastic atmospheric shots. I wish I could have been there but suffice to say I'm sitting in a hospital waiting to collect my wife who's having a minor 'procedure' this morning. Pete in Lincs
Splendidly atmospheric, thanks to all involved & for posting. We deliver cask ales to the pub in the village. I still haven't gotten around to diverting onto the aerodrome. Maybe this Summer.

Corsairfoxfouruncle
Beautiful Photos and well thought out to get the “Dawn Patrol” look just right. My favorite photos have to be #2 and the very last one. They capture the angle of the Sunlight just right, on the sides of both aircraft. Thanks for posting these. cngaero
Those are by far some of the most evocative and stunningly beautiful photographs of any aircraft I've ever seen. Each one captures the character of the aeroplane so well. Thank you for showing them.

Latinbear
Perfect weather and no evidence of modern life spoiling the backdrop. Absolutely cracking pictures!
Alpha Delta 210
Thanks Latinbear. Stow Maries is a wonderful location that has barely changed since the end of WWI.
canberraman
Delightful, evocative shots that ooze atmosphere. It's hard to believe these were taken in 2018! I really must get round to visiting Stow Maries one day, it looks a timeless gem of a place. Mark
Alpha Delta 210
Thanks for the kind words, Mark. I can thoroughly recommend a visit to Stow Maries. The museum is small, but informative and the surviving WWI buildings create a very atmospheric venue. I might experiment with converting some of the images to monochrome.
