1:72 Matchbox A-10A - NOT straight from the box!

Guess what?  I actually did get the seat finished last night!  Replaced the pitot horns and added the belts just like I planned. So, one McDonnell Douglas ACES II:

"But why go to all that trouble when Matchbox provided such an accurate and exquisitely detailed seat in the kit?" I hear you ask.

Well, that's a good question, but remember, the Matchbox kit represents the prototype, so their seat is an ESCAPAC 1E9, whereas I am making a production A-10A, which needed an ACES II.  So I think the extra work was justified.

Yeah, that Matchbox seat really is a great representation of an Escapac.  ;)
