Dewoitine D 510 Heller 1/72

Recommended Posts

This is not the 520, btw...

Superb D-510...one of my favourite of the 1930s French designs!  Excellent weathering as well!

Can you share you WiP of the cowling section?  It looks like you've done some work there.

Great build and finish, congratulations B)

Good to see it in a different colour scheme B) but it is a pity it doesn't have a pilot as the "flying" pics look odd without a driver.

Nice job - the paintwork is very effective and there are some nice detail touches on the model too - the cowling gills and intakes, the exhaust stubs, the undercarriage, the actuators for the ailerons and rudder, the drilled out machine-gun and cannon barrels, the pilot's step; it all adds to what I remember as a decent but rather basic kit - good work mate B)

Cheers,

Stew

I paint it using white spirit to make surface wet, and paint stains by oil paint. Smooth edges was making itself ,-) Its easy way to do smooth stains for people without aerograf ,-))

He was a little Chinese guy! ;) But he had a strange name (Labousierre) ;).

For me the best picture:
