the Hasegawa P-47s can´t keep up with the Tamiya ones, wing to fuselage fit isn´t very good

because with the fine pigmented metal paints you see every scratch and filler, my dad decided for an olive scheme and will do "Stinker Too"

he will do a nmf scheme someday with a better fitting Tamiya kit

Sadly often Hasegawa kits only include the parts you need for the versions provided in the kit, in this case for an early P-47. To say, there were no wing bomb racks included, had to steal them from another Hasegawa kit. Furthermore only the early CE prop was there, found a needed paddle CE prop in the sparesbox.

applied some metal colour in the wing root area for some chipping later on, some white paint by MRP for the ID and Invasion stripes, chromatic yellow for the wheel wells
