Peter Marshall
Started today, the old Tristar kit in the Hobbyboss box Work starts with the two sets of road wheels - steel rimmed for the front and rubber rimmed for the rear. I've left off the rubber rims at the moment - they can go on after paint Then on with the bogeys Then finally for the day, the drive sprockets This is a typical Tristar kit, a lot like Bronco - lots of detail, and tiny pieces but everything so far fit's really well. Sairou
I have their Pz iv ausf c in the stash, I'll be interested to see how you get on with the tracks- the instructions claim they are workable
Peter Marshall
Today, lots of tiny bits, and the lower running gear is done. Just to give an example the rubber limit bumps are made of 3 pieces each. Peter

Peter Marshall
Today's work, adding the front glacis and then the rear engine deck Peter
BlackMax12
Looking good so far Peter. It almost looks like they dropped the top half of the Jagdpanther onto a Panzer IV chassis. It does look like a Bronco kit, lots and lots of small detail parts but they look great. Take care, Lloyd
Kris B
I am not big fan of self-propelled guns, but build looks interesting so I am here. Good progress so far.

Tim B
Looks great! I'm glad I found you again. Last month was terrible for me. So it's nice to see one of my best buddies still producing quality! keep it up mate and will be posting a new build soon.
Peter Marshall
Today's work - first finished off the last construction adding the supports for the shurtzen and last of the details Then primed with Mr Surfacer black, and then added lightening Then on with the paint Peter
Peter Marshall
Today's work - first added 'Ambush' cammo using a small mask, and sprayed the Balkenbreuz Then a Tan filter over the top to start bringing it together Then while that was drying, started assembling the tracks. These are workable tracks, and so far (20 links in), it appears that they work - only another 74 to go on this side Peter

Peter Marshall
Today started by adding the decals and then dot filtering Then added mud to the lower hull Finished assembling the track all 98 links Then 1.5 hours of swearing and fighting with the bloody things - they fall apart way too easily if you put *any* twist on them, and 98 links is actually a few short. I guess I am so used to most kits that have the running gear attach quite firmly sitting true. Can you rotate the drive sprockets at that stage? do they allow for you to better position and attach the tracks?
