Jinxman
Hi, A few pics from the first week of this year's exercise - weather wasn't the best, claggy most of the time, and a bit chillier than expected. Nice selection of participants though, and thanks for looking in, cheers Edited April 14, 2018 by Jinxman removal of text stuff
Latinbear
Beautifully sharp and well composed images as ever! I particularly like the two F18s in image 7. I would have been pleased to have taken any of these. Ta for sharing these.

Creepy Pete
Too bad you didn't go this week. I went there today and the weather was pretty nice, especially between 11 and 1, and later in the afternoon. No coat needed. And it's going to be well over 20 degrees this week!

It was 5 or 6 degrees last week, and the wind was a very chilly NNEasterly. Hope it stays like that for you. It is also nice here this week, which unfortunately means I am on gardening duty.. I must say the Leeuwarden Aviation Group guys did a great job with organising the spottersbult and parking - very good indeed. The singing road at the other end of the runway made me smile as well. Stephen
Great pics , thanks for sharing them. I found the pics of the F-15's interesting as they were carrying SNIPER pods on the centreline.

Thanks, it's nice to see some different loads on these aeroplanes, makes a change from the bog-standard airshow load of... nothing!
Sabrejet
Nice photos Jinxman: is that Stefano Modena? '87 was my last year of having much of an interest in F1. Once you've seen an XJR-6 at full chat most other forms of motorsport seem (sound) a bit lame!

I agree about the motorsport thing - it all leaves me a little cold these days - too choreographed and regimented. We still get to the odd hill-climb and vintage event, but it's getting less often as time goes by.
Sabrejet
Ditto: 1 historic and 1 sprint meeting so far this year and the hill climb season kicks off Saturday for us. Can't wait.
