Some rumours say the next Great Wall Hobby (GWH) 1/48th kits might be a family of Sukhoi Su-25 "Frogfoot".

Same rumours for Kitty Hawk.

Wait and see and fingers crossed.

Now that would be something. I'd expect an announcement of a HB 1/48 Su-25 (probably a downscale of the Trumpeter 1/32 Su-25) to follow shorty after.

That would be my number one, long-awaited release if it would come. I wonder why it was skipped so far... The old kits are not bad but nowhere close to modern standards, I hear.

Pretty please make this happen! :D

That would be result because.....

A. It's a Su-25

and

B. It's GWH

Let it be true!

It has long been a mystery to me why no new Frogfoot has been forthcoming.  What's the betting Kitty Hawk and HB/Trumpy announce new releases within the next three months?

If this is true, its a great development and I will anxiously look forward to build two or three of these jets.

Perhaps Kitty Hawk can also improve their standards. Do the research properly. And don't rush their release. For the price they demand, modellers don't expect glaring omissions and lazy mistakes.

How about ICM? They’ve done a really great job with their MiG-25 and I’m sure they’ve plenty of airframes in Ukraine to measure.:waiting:

I'd be happy to see one of these, so I can finally consign my others to the "Meh" pile. :)

I'm not a KittyHawk fan, but if there was an aircraft that was being re-tooled by any brand the SU-25 I wouldn't care who made it, just take my money

If looking like one, yes, definitely!!

My only hope is that when they decide on how the parts will break down (and they will almost certainly have a multi-piece fuselage) please make the parts mate on a panel line!

Saw this on Facebook yesterday.

I surely hope so, no mention of scale

What could possibly go wrong? :chair: Hope they fix this now BEFORE they cut the molds. Why? Because I would like to see a really decent 1/48 Su-25.:waiting:

That looks a little like trying to pass off a bulldog as a wolf.
