Hi,

after the C-40A I decided to make another 1/200 Boeing 737 kit and this time a US Air Force T-43A.

First the box;

And this is in the box;

And these are the decals I will be using;

This will be a fast one but I hope I will get it done on time.

Thanks Ray.

My filled windows keep coming outwards and with no windows on the T-43 I unfortunately have nothing to hide the problems.

I'm really glad Hasegawa opted for closed fuselages on the later molds!

I have run some thin strip draw decals around a nose and they settled OK with setting solution. With such a large slab of a decal, you may need to heat it with a hair dryer or the like or paint that area (its black isn't it?).

Thanks Ray!

Unfortunately it isn't black but blue and I don't have that blue in the paint rack so painting will be difficult to match the blue to the cheatline on the fuselage.

Help!

Anyone has experience with getting Draw decals bending around corners??

I use hot water from the kettle, pour some in a small dish. Fold some kitchen paper several times into a small square, dip it in the hot water (as hot as you can stand it, but don't burn yourself!) and press it down on the decal.  Do it several times and the decals should conform. I've used lots of Draw decals, and found that this is far & away the best method.  Seeting solutions dont reall have any effect on them.

Here using Draw Decals on an Airbus A318 conversion. They are old photos, and it's not really around compound curves, but the principal is the same.

To keep it 737 themed, this one is a lot of deaclling from Draw's Kulula sheet
