Hardtarget
Ok, a bit of progress on this bird. Cockpit painted along with other internal bits requiring some colour. DSC_0298 by stuart wellard, on Flickr Engines DSC_0299 by stuart wellard, on Flickr Engine Nacelles to wing. No issues apart form a small bit of sanding on top of the air intake to the wing nascelle. DSC_0300 by stuart wellard, on Flickr Internal compartments starting to be cemented to the fuselage halves. DSC_0301 by stuart wellard, on Flickr Fuselage cemented along with the wings attached. I added weight to the fuselage nose opposite side to the nose wheel oleo. AND i dropped some liquid gravity in the nacelles. I dropped it in through the U/C opening once everything has set. This way i could temporarily affix the u/c in place put the wheels on and see where her equilibrium is. the shot was held in place with PVA also just dropped in the hole. Warning! you need to keep her nose down to prevent any PVA from oozing out of the wheel wells. DSC_0302 by stuart wellard, on Flickr Masking time, with the aid of an Eduard set which is a must as there is a lot of glazing. DSC_0303 by stuart wellard, on Flickr All masked up ready for some internal colour then primer. DSC_0304 by stuart wellard, on Flickr Wheels getting some treatment. Hardtarget
Right Home run on this bird. She was primed using stynyrez then airbrushed using vallejo OD and NG. Decals applied using Daco strong fluid. Bit more detailing then a flat coat with masking then removed and some weathering but i doubt this will be done today as its another hot one day today and its too hot in the office.
