heloman1
Nice choice, I hadn't realised it was available in 48th, will have to look closely at Kitty hawks website. I see form your first pic the clock is ticking on this build. The cockpit is looking good... Colin
Enrywar67
Hi.....closed the fuselage and add the ballast in the avionic bay....the fit is very good....I've used a little amount of cyanoacrylate to glue and to putty...two in one!!!Then I placed the pe parts....and these are also perfect! Also the exaust needs same putty in the joint....this time I've used mr surfacer 500.....in the bottom I've also scribed two missing line panels. The cannon:Kitty hawk have forget completely the mechanism that is visible from bottom side....so i've opened the turret and glued same tube, rod and various plasticard......to achive an idea of the real thing.....Ciao from Italy!!
Jon Bryon
Looks good! I've just started mine too. What's interesting is that my copy is moulded in a different colour plastic to yours - mine is a very pale grey. It's also very soft. Cheers Jon
Enrywar67
Yes the plastic is soft! cannon turret mechanism ended and painted....same others works:rebuilt the small Apu exhaust,in the kit is curved while in the photo is straight....,glued the ball turret and masking/painting,closed all the engine bay ,glued the skids (with same putty work....)....and before to close the fuselages I've modified the shaft rotor to work the rotor blades and sub assemblies apart.....Ciao from Italy....😉 Edited April 28, 2018 by Enrywar67
