Welcome Patrice

Another B-25 with nice looking markings. If I keep a close eye on all these builds I won't have time to do my own

Patrice, could you point me toward a source for this decal sheet please?

I'm very interested in the 'Shady Lady' scheme for my Gunship.....I've never seen one in MTO markings before.

Good morning Sgt Squarehead

I have this sheet https://www.scalemates.com/kits/993350-albatros-modelworks-alc-72008-b-25-c-d-g-h-j-mitchell

for some years now and I don't know if it is still available but you could find something interesting here https://www.hannants.co.uk/search/index.php?adv=1&product_category_id=&product_division_id=&manufacturer_id=&product_type_id=all_decals&code=&scale_id=956&keyword_search=B+25+MITCHELL&setPerPage=25&sort=0&search_direction=0&save_search_name=&save_search=

Best regards

Patrice

Good evening all

Thank you for your comments ,so far this kit is easy to build ..

Today I placed some weight in the nose and engine  nacelles and I closed the 2 fuselage halves

Good morning All

I must confess that placing the wings took me some times but it must be my fault ..

And I would like to advise all the future builders of this kit to place enough weight in the nose because after placing the wings I tried to but the kit on its legs she simply sat on her tail and I had to place more weight in the nose of course at that stage of my build there was not  a lot of space left but I   succeeded and now she is not a tail seater anymore ..

Bonsoir Patrice,

the more I see builds of this fantastic Airfix kit, the more I feel the need to buy/steal/borrow one! Never built a B-25, so this looks the right place to start.

Your detailing is simply superb. Well done!

Re the OD, you said this is Humbrol 155? I never thought of using it for this color, but why not? And I thought you were a spray painter? Or am I mistaken and this is not a paint brush signature?

Super travail!

Good Morning Bonjour Jean

Thank you merci , the Airfix Mitchell is a very nice kit and I recommend it if you have never built a B25 ..

I always brush paint my builds , I use Hu 155 for Olive Drab since I managed to get a Paint Conversion Table a few years ago ..

I will have to paint another coat next time ..

Best regards

Patrice
