noelbarnes
This is an excellent kit with loads of detail for it's size. Not sure what scale it is, but it sits about 55mm high. The build took about 20 minutes but all the fun was in the painting. I hand painted the base with Tamiya acrylics in numerous layers of red, clear red, and white. I am very happy with the result.

Thud4444
I like that! How did you make the salt flat base?
Nigel Heath
Looks good and the red salt crust is very effective.

Pete in Lincs
That does look good. Great painting. I detect a hint of Gorilla in the stance.
Wulf
That's some neat paint job for such a tiny kit. Colors are spot on, too. What did you use for the base color? I thought about using dark sea grey.

What did you use for the base color? I thought about using dark sea grey. I covered the raw kit in Tamiya Black Panel Line Wash, then dry brushed with Ocean Grey (Humbrol), and then a dry brushed with Model Master Light Sea Grey or some thing similar. I then added a few local washes on panels and the streaking with black and sepia Mig washes. Hope that helps.
Wulf
Thx. Wouldn't have thought the base color is bare plastic.
