AdrianMF
Great production line! Thanks for taking all the step-by-step photos. It's helping with my withdrawal symptoms - two weeks without modelling is two weeks too long! I don't really think of the Firefly (and an early mark at that) and the Skyraider as being contemporaries, but they overlapped 1945-1955! Regards, Adrian PS. Google seems to have introduced a new thing where it brings up the proper results and then pops up some spam shopping results a second later just when you are clicking on a sensible result. I haven't analysed the webpage to see if they are timing it to optimally confound you, but I wouldn't be surprised. And they seem to be replacing wikipedia with their own screen-scraped entries. Looks like they forgot that company policy of "don't be evil"...

If not you need to get saving to support her career. So much to look at in that last slew of updates that I can only say Bravo! (Though how you avoid sticking parts of different aircraft onto each other with so many on the go at one time amazes me!) Fully expect to see you accidentally produce a Heincaster or Beaufocke one day! Great works as always my friend. Oh great thanks Dear Baron ! Please … I'm mad enough, there is no need to induce me in a BeauFocke…. I'm seriously thinking about a Hawker Monsoon…. Thanks for Madlyne, yes she entered an art school last September and she seem to love it ! Get savings ??? Here we are in the heavily taxed country in EU and we did'nt get anything back from these bloodsuckers ! Savings are Something like an unreachable dream. Now I have some savings in plastic Sometimes, when I stop modelling, it can happen that a Hurricane part fing its way to a corsair box…. It results in swearing when I try to find it… Then the rest is purely logic... Hum … What did I worked on last time ??? Aaaand gotcha Thanks gain for the Kind words Tony Sincerely. corsaircorp
Hello Dears ! Yesterday was a FAA modelling evening for sure I finished the rudder pedals for the Barracuda ! Look better that way… Mmmmh maybe adding some straps !! The desk of the Firebox is almost done Aaaand I thinned down the trailing edge of the wing because it was thick AND irregular... Now it's squarred !! So now SWMBO is callinge, IRL is demanding these days ! Sincerely. CC

corsaircorp
Hello Dears, Yesterday has been quite productive too, finally, I will also finish another Navy bird this year but a FAA one ! Not this one for sure !! It look promising !! Sanding, plastic shim and putty And then sanding again !! The pilot desk is almost finished, so I will soon button up the beast ! I changed my mind about the war load of the Firebox !! Since I saw Something more "exciting" Did anyone of you have two airfix british rocket tails left from a Seafire or spitfire boxing ?? 8 british rocket Under each wings…. Can't resist !! but I missed 2 tails ! However, I'll buy another Seafire 47 but I have to find one !! Have a great modelling time !! Sincerely. corsaircorp
Hello Dears, Hey !! These 2 last days have been good on modelling !! Not a lot to be showed in pics but I'm glad of what has been done. One last pic of the pilot desk before it will be buried in the fuselage ! Ok, I lied, 2 pics , the 2 tiny levers on the left were a nightmare !! I think that my camera start to be worn… Or maybe did I need new specs ??? And then ! Hop ! There will be sanding !! Whatever I tried... Have a great modelling time !! Sincerely. CC
corsaircorp
Hello Dears ! How to be such a stupid modeller, Lesson 1 !! Yesterday I was so enthusiastic about buttoning up the Firebox... And then I see that I did'nt erase the resin plug And guess what is precisely Under the pilot cockpit !! Dang !! We have a winner… The resin Wheel wells 8 Now that will be a bit more fun !! So Dear @Martian Hale erase it before gluing the fuselage, There is enough with one dumb in this parrish !! Oh and I saw some pic from your hometown, Nice, a bit sandy but nice https://www.theverge.com/2016/2/8/10937050/nasa-mars-curiosity-rover-360-degree-video-tour Ok Dears, tomorrow, back to the toecutter for an appointmentI hope that the surgery will took place quickly !! Enough of pain !! Have a very nice modelling time ! Sincerely. CC 2

corsaircorp
Hello Dears ! 2 points of special interest for our Dear welcomed alien from the outer space ! Here's the worst one ! This part of the belly did'nt join well even with the empty fuselage... So look the result with the RIO desk in place…. Maybe Dear @Martian Hale grinding on the interior of the fuselage because the plastic is really thick The resin parts are really thin, but I think that even with that done, the join will not be quite good !! Here's the second … The shape of the nose did'nt match exactly… And it is an understatement ! So if you have a good join on the radiator then you have a step on the engine cowling, I choose this because the lip of the radiator is quite thin… And there's far more plastic on the upper part of the cowling… As one can see, there's a good match near the cockpit 'til halfway of the cowling and then… I will have a look at these hinges… just over the exhaust stubs… 🤔 Ok now !! Have a great modelling time ! sincerely. CC

Martian 👽 You're right Cap'tain Martian ! And now, I know why they showed a resin plug for the nose and radiator cowling ! Whatever, when I asked them, they've never replied. Have a good modelling time ! I suppose that the coldness is forcing the boats on docks ?? No more keelhauling for this while ?? Sincerely. corsaircorp
Hello Dears, Some work done and a step ahead to the completion of my Korean War HMS Triumph deck ! Now there's still a load of fun to enjoy with this AZ "kit" Here ! The Karmann has already been rectified ! And here… And here too !! Now, SWMBO bring a new tablecloth for the kitchen table !! Far more supportive than the banana clad one !! See Now, the kitchen table is also wearing its poppies with pride !! Look great to me ! Thanks for watching Dears ! And have a great modelling time !!
