Dampflokomotive Br86

Recommended Posts

Okay, before I put up the pictures of the finished article -  a few points:

  • The Trumpeter kit as it stands is horribly inaccurate.
  • Despite this, the kit builds extremely well and would make a fine model in its own right.
  • There are a lot of variants within the class, so pick one loco to build.

So here are the pictures of the finished article...

Congrats Dave - a lovely thing to see on your shelf every day. Put a glass case around it. I am a fan of the 'Big Boy' class of articulated locos here in the states. Every time I visit the sites featuring them, the shots of these immense giants makes me dream like a little boy.

Bravo ! And start another please...:whip:

Lovely work and a great model!

Looks just right and well used. Really impressive.

Would love to see a Big Boy on the move. The videos don't do them justice.

Not sure what I'm doing next, possibly an A6-E Intruder (it's one of those strange flying things).

Amazingly, we have very similar tastes Dave....:coolio:
