TEZ
Another F-104 Starfighter, this time an Italian example belonging to 28 Gruppo Stormo, Villafranca, circa 1992. Markings were from Tauro, Sky decal and for the squadron markings stencils were made using a Silhouette Portrait cutter. The Daco improvement set provided the chaff dispensers and the internal camera bay. Andrew

Erik Leijdens
That is just great. Looks really good! Never knew Italian F-104s used the same chaff dispensers as some of the F-5As. Great work! Erik

RidgeRunner
Very nice - a great build and a Starfighter! What could be better? Aside from the F-104 connection I have a soft spot for Villafranca machines, having visited there a couple of times in the 1980s.... TEZ
Thanks for all the feedback. 10 minutes ago, RidgeRunner said: By the way - small point - the two triangular antennas are on the large side. Martin Hi Martin, yes, I agree - I was in two minds whether to add them. They’re from the Daco improvement set, a godsend for ‘104 modellers. The AN/ALE40 they have been installed for the “Ace Guard” (Desert Storm) based on Erhac AB Turkey from 6-1-1991 to 10-3-91 together with the Orpheus pod. It seems to me that there were no stencils on the chaff/flares, only on Marineflieger F-104, i've these in my catalog in 1/32 scale.
