Killingholme
Just noticed- does Airfix let you fit the small fuselage windows from the outside? That's helpful! Will

tonyot
Hiya Folks,..... well I removed the excess watercolour today, using a damp paper towel,...... and here is the result,..... having also removed some of the silvered decals and a bit of detail repainting, which I could have done without! DSCF2915_NEW by Tony OToole, on Flickr I`m trying to keep the weathering to a minimum as they appear to be very well maintained in service. Cheers for now, Tony

modelling minion
Considering the problems you have had with the decals Tony this is looking very good indeed. It does make a change to see a B-25 in something other than green and I hope that your original decal sheet does turn up, probably within a week of this one being finished as that is what happens to me!

Thanks MM,..... and yes,....isn`t it always the same,..... no doubt it will turn up any day now, along with the mouth decals from the 1/48th Mitchell that I also lost! We found a Victorian photo of our house recently and there is a ghostly woman standing on the doorstep,...... we think that she is our carpet monster,..... as we are always losing things that never, ever turn up again or turn up as soon as you don`t need them anymore,......, I`ve never known a house like it,...honestly!!! Hardtarget
Absolutely lovely, i must say i do like all things dutch, those roundels are very evocative on aircraft. Just got to get on with my builds now especially as ive found out the multiple interior colours of the C/D's. tonyot
Thanks everyone,..... well the model turned out more matt than I`d hoped for,..... so I`ve brushed on a couple of coats of Klear to gloss it up a little and look more like the original aircraft in photos,..... hope you like the updated model; DSCF3002_NEW by Tony OToole, on Flickr DSCF3003_NEW by Tony OToole, on Flickr DSCF3005_NEW by Tony OToole, on Flickr DSCF3007_NEW by Tony OToole, on Flickr DSCF3022 by Tony OToole, on Flickr Cheers, Tony
