FIGHTS ON
I like it (and I'm normally a low viz sort-of-guy). I have a set of the paragon wing folds for this kit in 1/48, but have never got around to buiying the kit (can't decide on the ES-3 or the vanilla S-3). Any obvious "gottchas" with the build or fairly straight forward?? (yours has clearly turned out as a stunner
Sleepwalker
A great plane from the past, when they were just beautiful.

Paul J
Smart. I always thought the S-3 was an unusual looking aeroplane and built a couple in my USN themed days of yore. Are there any still operating?
Britman
Exceptional, thank you for sharing. Always thought the S3 would have looked good in second user schemes like Brazil, Argentina or something.
Julien
A nice build, before they went overall grey and boring. One small point is that it would be an S-3B as this introduced the Harpoon capability. Julien
Terry1954
Thats a superb looking Viking I must say. I especially like the overall finish and the Viking tail emblem. I do feel IMHO that the gull grey and white era, was the most attractive for USN types. As @Julien suggests, they got boring after that! What paint make and colours did you use for this? Cheers Terry
mcdonnell
Hello,Mark - My full compliments to you on a beautiful looking build of your ‘Viking’.This is a charismatic aircraft which I haven’t seen very often in model form and she looks resplendent in her colourful ‘Hi-Viz’ markings.👏😉👍All The Best,Paul.
