Reini78
After the CA Fiat CR32 went back to the shelf of doom, my dad dares a new attempt with an Austrian 30ies bi-plane. Using the original Classic Airframes kit with decals from the new Special Hobby re-boxing. Reini78
The SH kit now has better engineering and some more parts for the cockpit. But with this CA kit you have to do some scratchbuilding. Reini78
Like the Classic Airframes FiatCR32 also this CA kit moves to the shelf of doom. Maybe my dad will take a new attempt in the future with the improved Special Hobby kit.....now on tonew projects

Reini78
ok...the project is alive again! my dad decided to use the Special Hobby kit and use the CA one for spareparts if needed he could remove the frames from the fuselage halves and will insert the SH cockpit frame, should fit together DSC_0001 by Reinhard Spreitzhofer, auf Flickr
Reini78
Ro37 2.0 new parts from the SH kit, the seats are from the CA one DSC_0001 by Reinhard Spreitzhofer, auf Flickr DSC_0002 by Reinhard Spreitzhofer, auf Flickr
Reini78
as mentioned, the SH kit has more cockpit parts than the CA kit, all in form of resin parts DSC_0002 by Reinhard Spreitzhofer, auf Flickr
Reini78
way better cockpit assembly with the SH kit than with the CA one DSC_0001 by Reinhard Spreitzhofer, auf Flickr DSC_0002 by Reinhard Spreitzhofer, auf Flickr

Reini78
partly very fragile plastic, some of the frame struts were already broken in the box
Reini78
a bit tricky cockpit alignment, let´s see how it turns out DSC_0002 by Reinhard Spreitzhofer, auf Flickr DSC_0003 by Reinhard Spreitzhofer, auf Flickr

Reini78
As foreseen, this project hasn´t come that far, went to the shelf of doom, my dad lost the fun with it. He wanted to glue the fuselage halves together, but the frame didnßt fit so well, se he used some minor force to bend it into direction and then some struts of the cockpit frame broke again. Well, at least it isn´t dead, my dad kept it and didn´t throw it away.😃
