the MDman
Nice! Now I know which kit is next from the stash Edited March 28, 2018 by the MDman
Terry1954
Hi Erik, I'm liking this a lot. NATO aircraft of this period are some of my favorites and the F-84F especially. I had heard that the panel lines were too deep but to be honest, the way you have finished this everything looks just fine. I tend to medel in 1/72 but models like this tempt me to try 1/48! What colour and paint types did you use for the grey/green/blue? Well done and thanks for sharing. Cheers Terry

But to be honest I did not see the problem. Better a bit too deep rather than too shallow. Adding a panel line wash is much easier this way! What I find far more problematic of the Kinetic kit is the inlet. The kit part has an oval shape which is not correct. Luckily Quickboost offers a replacement inlet which I also have used. Colors used are; Humbrol 123 for the Extra dark sea grey. Xtracolor X1 for the Dark green. Xtracolor X9 for the PRU blue. Erik

Well the inlets look really good so your work in that area has also paid off. Thanks also for the colour references. They look pretty spot on, so its always good to know what was used for future reference. Terry
BushBrit66
Lovely job! Although this is a maligned copy of the Monogram classic, you have done the subject justice. I have built both and can recommend either!

SpeedyGonzales
Lovely model of a very nice plane. Planes of the 50's and 60's had very graceful lines in my opinion.

Orion
Hello Erik, Stunning model. As mentioned before, the weathering is excellent. Always good to see the Royal Dutch Air Force on this excellent site. Regards, Orion / The Netherlands.
