Ted
I finished a small 1/35 scale dio that had been stagnant for a couple years. It represents a car, motorcycle and three troopers from the 12th Manitoba Dragoons in Belgium in the fall of 1944. The armoured car is the Staghound from Italeri with extensive additions from the fantastic Resicast set. This set includes the remnants of wading stacks, the storage frames on the sides and many bits of stowage. I also used an aluminum barrel as the Italeri plastic barrel doesn't look right. The motorcycle is Bronco's Triumph. This is a beautiful kit, you get two of the bikes and three figures in the set. It's a bit delicate but I was really happy with how it turned out. The rider and tea-drinker are Bronco figures and the moustachioed fellow is a Miniart figure with arms from one of the Bronco MPs in the motorcycle kit. The cap badge was from an antique shop and painted to match the regiment's insignia.
