So I repaired a broken and lost hook in the Hellcat wheel well... Then I realized that Eduard missed the point one tailwheel well, since there's no well at all... I can't let it that way... So, drilling and filing... And here we go, a bit better that way... Still I must re-paint the exhaust stacks, and then, I'll put the beast aside until I get some Xtracrylics insignia red... Did'nt look too bad, What do you think Gents ?? However, I'll not be bored while I wait for the paint... I've got some kits on their way... I think it should also have an O on the gear door as well. Well the Life color paints did'nt fare very well this time... I surely missed something.. The result is far less tidy but !! But the corrections are already started... I went on an Irish pub with SWMBO and the waiter did this... Puttin' my mug on my pint... Weird... It was like kissing myself... Ok gents I know, I know... I worked very oftenly with life color, but sometimes S... happen Too wet was surely the cause... Then, I painted in a rush and there is a lot of moisture these last days.. Rain squalls, tempest, gales and then rain again... Let's say that sometimes it's just moisture in between the rain shower... Since november... Every morning, I look anxiously at my fingers... We seldom see the old Monogram kit brought to fruition and you're doing some really nice work on it. This kit was the fourth scale model I built after returning to the hobby in my late twenties, circa '88 or '89. It was never much to brag about and had never been photographed until December of 2016. I hope it's not in too bad form to add a pic to your thread and I will remove it if so. 😀 I thought you might enjoy seeing another one done, in whatever form and fashion, by a rank beginner. They tear out a tumor in his throat only to discover that there was another on even bigger behind the first one... So he has his throat fully opened.... Right now he seem to grow better, of course he cannot talk... His respiration is going directly through the tracheotomy for a more few day... Now he is arguing with my mother in writing on his cell phone or on a paper sheet... So he's growing better... Well, seeing my dad in such a poor state is killing my mojo... But ... Here we are with the cats... Hooops, that's Plucky... I was speaking about these cats ! The FAA one is on its wheels !! I'll start the flory today !!
