OK just making a place marker and a check with the hosts about the 25% started rule as you can see the hull main part and lower deck have been started a while back but still a lot of parts to go to get this 700 scale built in time

welcome aboard beefy, nice to see one of the monster carriers in the build!

What you've done so far is fine, there's still plenty of work to go on here. Even at 1/700th scale she's still going to be a big beastie!

Good luck with the build, will be great to follow, I hope you enjoy yourself.

Small update went with the panzer gray decking and white walls looks like not much will be seen even when either side doors are open

And just for scale of this 1/700 kit that is an A3 mat and a 1/72 MTB in the background

So you can have clear canopies when you paint the little suckers. Just need to place a drop of liquid mask or tack.

that actually makes sense, I would have wondered the same thing myself.

She is coming along very nicely, but I reckon painting all those places will take time and a toll on your eyesight!

Don't inhale too sharply Keith or you'll lose those aircraft!

Looking great though. 👍

Well got most of the air wing done some of the decals look better than others but I can live with that they are small  😵

also made up a base and attached the hull still more fine bits to add to the bridge and around the deck but should complete this weekend fingers crossed  🤔

he looks awesome, well done!

I do like the base you've made for her. You almost add a tiny bit of cotton wool around the nose gear of one of those F-14's and it'd look like it about to launch.

I loved this build, well done again.
