RidgeRunner
Hi again all you Phantom lovers! I've found some sunshine in the form of images of F-4Ds taken during a visit to the 170th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Illinois Air National Guard at Capital Airport, Springfield, Illinois in May 1982. Note the fresh-painted machine with wrap-around camouflage in the final image. They need little introduction so here goes: As always, I hope you like them Martin Edited March 19, 2018 by RidgeRunner added extra text 15

Thud4444
Outstanding. I miss the days back when the ANG still flew these. The sky seemed more exciting back then. Edited March 21, 2018 by Thud4444

Martin You would have loved the very colorful 354th FDW F-100's at Myrtle Beach AB in South Carolina in the late fifties- commanded by the late great Francis Gabreski! Heaven for a young planespotter/future modeler! Mike
