ScanmanDan
Just a little distraction from Japan A solid resin character (toon) model of a Mustang. Pretty clean from the package I have done a little trimming, sanding and some primer before two coats of colour. I think I might just do one more coat of colour and then set it aside to dry out before a light sand/polish and some details. There are a large range of models in the Neko-Works range but sadly only a few on offer at any one time. Not a bad little squirrel though We'll see if I don't stuff it in painting the details. Pete in Lincs
Only slightly bonkers then? Nice paint finish.
ScanmanDan
Pete - No completely bonkers I'm pleased you like the yellow. Progress; Little bit of paint, still very rough and working through what works. Next one will get a lot more pre paint prep and that would make detail painting a lot easier. Looks a little worse for wear but here goes. Lots of little bits to tidy up but I'm getting the whoopsies so I'm going to go and do something else for a bit. I think I can get her back to a presentable shape. Need to make a little base too. Thanks for looking in. Dan
Corsairfoxfouruncle
Other than being a bit compressed and bubble shaped its actually surprisingly accurate.
ScanmanDan
I've been messing about with this for the last few days, almost finished with the detail painting. Thought I'd make a little base for the Mustang. Here's what I came up with. Experimented with a few things but good old 240 grit sandpaper painted up looked the best to my eye. Just a bit more work and this one will be done. Thanks for looking in. Dan
