Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone,

This is my latest completed model of the Hellcat Mk.I in Royal Navy colours in 48th scale by Eduard. This is also my first submission on the RFI forum so I hope you like it.

Now that's a treat.

I've got the Eduard FAA Dual Combo in the stash, hope they turn out as well as yours.

Really glad you think so, I use Vallejo paints but I didn't use the recommended ones because I didn't think they looked right. In the end, I used Dark Slate Grey instead of Olive drab and US Dark grey instead of Ocean grey and then used Tamiya clear blue as a filter to correct the colours, making the Slate grey look more green and Dark Grey look more blue.

Colour and fade/stain work of the highest order.

Immaculate.

May this be the first of many.

A very good build and nice weathering. It looks like it is ready to roll across that wooden floor and take off !!!             Bob H.
