Encore? Are you a french language lover?

I'm not a fan of languages, tbh. At school I was forced to take French and Latin....I HATED IT and paid very little attention. I have enough trouble speaking in my own tongue!!

Some of it must have sunk in, I suppose!!  A token of my respect, Sir!

Thank you Harvey, fortunately you are better in modeling!

Well today oil tank. With a dry sump, no other way...

With the level gauge who never lies!

Thank you very much gentlemen!

To TGA, partially turned, it's a piece of brass tube,
but don't say it, only the upper is closed!
To Thierry, the most difficulty is to find the method. After,
only patience and good machines! It's not_to my eyes_ to  cheat
using a lathe or a mill... It's just the better way to approach_sometimes(!)_ a better result!

Thank you very much gentlemen, much appreciated as usual...

Today a small, very small update, but a big step!

First body pieces are coming:

And of course, we have to think about the future. How find the  centers holes?

Ladies and gentlemen, another small update...

The first rear side panel, dry fit:

Alone, because I'm waiting for 1mm head rivets from ModelMotorcars, but it's my fault!

Anyway, I have to work on the rear bonnet, this one:

Enjoy your WE!

As expected, rear bonnet...

It was not a walk.

But:

And it works!

190304055248218267.jpg

The mechanism:

190304055324964769.jpg

190304055320304239.jpg

Soldering in situ...

190304055338565553.jpg

Now another "mechanism".

To prevent that, really awful:

To obtain that:

As done on my Bugatti, simple but efficient!

A wonderful solution, dear Dan. I may have to borrow that idea for the Fiat:D

I love the hinge mechanism, too... it's a piece of art in it's own right.

Keep up the good work, my friend, the finishing line is not too distant, now!:clap2:

Cheers, H

Thanks Harvey, you are welcome my dear...

Finishing line? Oh yes, about six or eight month!

Well, rear side is _almost_ OK. Some settings on the trunk are needed...

Trunk enclosure. You can't see anything? Of course, it's made to!

190314051100414917.jpg

To open it, a small screwdriver...

As you have seen, on the rear top, flat head rivets, and the rivets must fit flush with the surface.

With rond head rivets I have to made flat head rivets too. Tedious, thanks Mr Dremel!

I have to stamp before... My tool:

Parts before mounting:

That's all folks!

Thanks for watching...

Thanks Harvey!

Today, first step on the rest of the body.

And you will understand why I almost had to finish almost the rear side...

Of course a template is needed:

Many work still to do, but it's not so bad!

190317051816990545.jpg

And the reason why...

Thank you TGA, much appreciated!

Today, last dry fit of the central body. All is OK now. But I have to work on the cockpit area... before closing!

You can admit it will be easier.

The other side. As you can see, the edges have been doubled

190322051903597636.jpg

New leather bands, less thick

190322051923537536.jpg

Last rear pieces are coming...

19032205194857416.jpg

Future joint of the bonnet, also...

Thanks for watching, Dan.
