PROPELLER
Thank you very much Sam! All the hardware you need are there: https://knupfer.info/shop/ Very serious, fast, a german dealer... Yes for the springs. Very easy in fact, 0.6 mm copper wire wounded around a 0.8 mm metal rod. Dan.

PROPELLER
Thanks Sabrejet! Well, today, as expected, carburetors and some linkages... Accurate, of course, as usual about 40%! Some tiny pieces: Lot of work outside the mode, easier... Dan.

PROPELLER
Thanks gentlemen, thanks my fans! No Sam, just two 70 years old poor eyes, but two pairs of glasses... Well, today fuel line and filters. With that, we can consider the engine bay completed! But before aluminum forming, I have to correct the rear brakes mechanism. Fortunately, all is removable... Tomorrow will be another day. Thanks for watching, Dan.

No Sam, just two 70 years old poor eyes, but two pairs of glasses... Thanks for watching, Dan. Certainly a fan is an understatement. Examples of this staggering accomplishment for me are the adel clamps holding the fuel line; they have the rubber bush within. The line also has a fuel shut-off petcock in line - all scratch made. You are out-doing yourself, to my great delight. Having only one 70+ year old eye, I would gladly suffer your plight... But you make the most of what you have... C PS - Pardon my ignorance Dan but the wires from what appears the coil on the firewall to the cover atop the head - should they just go into holes in the cover or should there not be some sort of grommet? And what do they attach to or control? Edited January 28, 2019 by Codger
harveyb258
…...and THAT is one great looking engine bay!! The linkages, the filters....all of it, just magnificent!! Hat's off, Dan Cheers, H
PROPELLER
Thank you very much gentlemen! Always much appreciated... Codger, no grommet, and some explanation: _1 Wealth carburetors _2 Choke _3 Trottle Note that the N°1 give me some trouble... Fortunately, I could ask to the owner! Thanks again guys! But I was referring to the ignition wiring seen here, not the linkage through the firewall. It would appear that terminal ends would need to be added after the wires were inserted in the cover. Original or a modification during restoration?:
PROPELLER
Sorry Codger, I can't say. But now I can say: my red wire is out of scale! Thanks Codger... 4
PROPELLER
Well, today as expected rear brakes. Remember, no front brakes... But before, rear side floor, and the first aluminum pieces of the patchwork. Who said removable? First body pieces, why? You will understand later. Choice of sequences are very important... The reason why: Dan.

Roy vd M.
Great stuff, once more. One question: is the battery on the real car originally there? No magneto? If magneto, how do you intend to model the car; magneto or battery?
