Reini78 Posted March 10, 2018 Posted March 10, 2018 #6/2018 The first pair with a matching fuselage band is finshed. After the Bf109G-14 with a KG(J)54 band, now my dad built this attractive 262. A similar KG(J)6 pair will follow. Tamiya kit with EagleCals, the fuselage band is painted because the decal didn´t look right. EZ Line used for antenna wires and front brake line. Spad Posted March 10, 2018 Posted March 10, 2018 Now that is gorgeous! Excellent airbrush skills on show here - love it! 1
Gorby Posted March 10, 2018 Posted March 10, 2018 Amazing camouflage and staggeringly good painting. 1
Corsairfoxfouruncle Posted March 10, 2018 Posted March 10, 2018 .... Excellent ... Ive always wanted to do this 262. I know i cant do the scheme justice yet so it will wait till that day i can come close to this level. 1
corsaircorp Posted March 10, 2018 Posted March 10, 2018 Hello Reini Very impressive camo, that's an ace, congrats ! I think that some of these birds made it to the JV-44 at the end of the war ! The family shot is very nice too ! Sincerely. CC 1
Newbie(kinda) Posted March 10, 2018 Posted March 10, 2018 Superb build and finish...as always. Didn't realise a 262 was SO big compared to a 109 (although I imagine that's just me). And I'm always surprised just how modern a fighter it still looks, even after all these years... 1

billn53 Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Painting that camo must have been very tricky. The result looks Great! Well done. 1

occa Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 Excellent model, not least due to the extraordinary camouflage !! I am only wondering what it has to do with the pirate flag (jolly rogers) ? Did I miss something ? 1
Terry1954 Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 What a beauty! Absolutely love it. Well done and thanks for sharing. Cheers Terry 1

pipthepilot Posted March 20, 2018 Posted March 20, 2018 Great model, love the camouflage. I think the Schwalbe is a fantastic subject, I have one in my stash that I hope to build soon. 1
