Airfix 1/32 Ford Model T post-1917 Pick-up

Recommended Posts

I haven't done a RFI for sometime. In fact I think I've only ever done one, maybe two

This the old Airfix 1/32 1912 Ford Model T converted to a post-1917 Model T Pick-up

Its far from perfect tho.

Main things done were;
  1. steering connections made
  2. changed to left-hand drive
  3. instrument panel and instruments added
  4. the scuttle, radiator and engine bonnet rounded
  5. the rear deck extended and the pick-up/stake body built of plastic card
  6. windscreen glazed and mid-way bar added
  7. tilt roof rear window glazed
  8. exhaust end pipe extended with plastic tubing and angled down and outwards, away from spare wheel
  9. spare wheel mounted under pick-up body
  10. 'little-lenses' used for head lights and tail light
  11. left off everything not appropriate to a later Model T

:wow:   Very RESPLENDENT and STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS.

LOVE THE wood  and it's beautifully painted.

Reminds ME of that Show calked THE WALTONS where exact vehicle was used.

Thank you for sharing.
