Pascoes Long Life instead of Klear, one for down under types.

I recently had a play with this to help out a fellow Kiwi modeller & seemed to get decent results with it but wondered what if any caveats it comes with, my experience is minimal at best. I'll put up some photos of my efforts such as they are soonish.

I have seen this mentioned before but never bothered with it. How has it worked for you? Are you using it for canopies? Or the whole model? And I wonder if it would work using the tamiya flat base mix to create a good matt varnish.

Have a look at this post on Camberrysauces thread on his Academy tempest build, it was talking about Academy decals that kicked it off when he said he didn't have any Klear, ok, so I've been hearing about Pascoe's Long Life Self Shining Floor Polish for years for years so I tried a couple of decals & a canopy dip ( a few posts after the one linked to) & it appears to work a lot like Klear,  I just wonder if there are any gotchas about it & hope that someone from the land('s) down under can share their experiences.
