Popular Post Dads203
So guys it's done, my first 72nd aircraft since my teen years and the first build for over a year. Its the Airfix HAR3 converted into a RN HU5, paints are almost all MRP and I'm well and truly converted to these now. I think I've put a bit to much of a bend the Perspex rod but I quite like the angle it's at Not a bad effort for an Ex Pongo who builds AFV's Enjoy the pictures, I'll try and get more done with a better background tomorrow. Cheers for looking and commenting on the build guys It all started here http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235023572-westland-sea-king-hu5/& Ta all Dan 86

Dads203
Thank you guys for the great feedback on this build, chuffed that you all like it. I’ve got another couple of these great kits and at some point I’ll build a HC4 and a HAR 3. Cheers for all the pointers that the membership have given during the build it’s all been appreciated. For the time being I’ll probably now go and build another AFV for the next project. Kind Regards Dan

Lightningboy2000
That certainly is a King of a model and I really love your sea effect which looks remarkably realistic. I would be really nervous about creating that sea effect! Martin
