cmatthewbacon
OK, so mine has arrived, and it looks rather lovely. Slightly tempted to polish the plastic and do it "Matchbox" style... It's a slightly weird breakdown. What I'm wondering is whether it's possible to slip the interior and windows in after assembling the main fuselage/wings and painting them white... Some interesting masking to do as well, if you don't use the coloured decals, just the silver bands at the edges and paint for the block blue or red colours. Anyone with more experience than me with "airliner" models (clue: that's almost anybody...) got one and care to venture some thoughts on how best to attack it? best, M. cmatthewbacon
Answered the first part of the question, anyway: the interior will not pop in after assembling the fuselage. It locks into the wing frame assembly, and I guess that might be essential for strength, given the way they've engineered the fuselage so the top lifts off... So, what's the best way to tackle this one...? best, M.
