fjaweijfopi4j48
Several cleats are home made, to chose the better from them and add to the floats: The red on the floats' bottom is masked and the black base coat airbrushed, also in other parts the will be metal color:

Sabrejet
There are few things more satisfying than seeing someone doing a great job on an esoteric subject. I'd missed this one but will be watching the final bits. Just trying to recall where I've seen a full-size T8P-1: Calgary or Nanton maybe?

Brandy
Very nice! The ladder looks a little bent but I'm assuming that's an optical illusion. Ian

Ian Hi Ian Paraphrasing The Matrix: "It's not the ladder what bends, it is only yourself" The ladder is composed of two tiers of longitudinal structures, a straight pair -where the rungs are- and a support angled pair, which is giving you the illusion of a bend. You will see the error of your ways when I post the completed model, little grasshopper.
