Wellington BH-V Markings Question

Can anyone confirm the code sequence on the starboard side of Wellington BH-V Z1382.  Trumpeter' s painting guide  shows the squadron code of BH to the right of the roundel.   I have not found a photo of this specific machine but other aircraft assigned to 300 Squadron seem to follow the convention of the squadron code painted on the left side of the roundel on the starboard side the aircraft.  Is Trumpeter in error or was this aircraft an exception to the rule?

On page 112 of the 300 Squadron book in the RAF Bomber Command profiles series by Chris Ward and Grzegorz Korcz, two Wellingtons can be seen from the starboard, each with it rendered differently: Z[roundel]BH, and BH[roundel]M.

Z1382 was a MK IV built under contract B97887/40, Vickers Hawarden.

DF640 was a MK III built under contract B92439/40/c.4 Vickers Blackpool.

300 Sqdn operated:

Wellington Mk Ic  Dec 40 to Sept 41

"          Mk IV Aug 41 to Jan 43

"          Mk III Jan 43 to Apr 43

      "          Mk X Mar 43 to Mar 44

There is no such airbase RAF Suffolk. Suffolk is a county and 300 Squadron were based in Notts and Lincs, never Suffolk.

Swinderby 22/8/40

Hemswell 18/7/41

Ingham    18/5/42

Hemswell 31/1/43

Ingham    22/6/43

Faldingworth 1/3/44

There is no rule to where the codes were placed, they can be found before or after the roundel.
